Terms and Conditions of Sale & Service

1              Pricing of Services.

  • Any prices displayed via marketing material/websites/social media etc. from Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd are subject change without notice and are not guaranteed. Prices are based on a full site survey being conducted prior to any treatment, contract(s) or work commencing. Prices shown via marketing material/websites/social media etc. are for residential customers only. Residential customers will receive a treatment report containing risk(hazards, environment) assessment(s) and safety advice concerning treatment and/or work carried out. 
  • Commercial/Industrial sites require a detailed environmental risk assessment and COSHH risk assessment prior to any treatment or work commencing. A quotation will then be issued in writing via hard copy or via electronic means, within 5 working days of the site survey being conducted.

 

2              Acceptance of Contract(s) and Services.

  • Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd require customer acceptance of work/treatment/contracts to be carried out in writing by means of the following:
  • Signature(s)(via treatment report(s), contract forms, documents and/or quotes issued to customer(s))
  • Email
  • Online/Website acceptance via form submission tools
  • Verbal instruction(s) or agreement(s) of contract of work and/or treatment to be carried out is not permitted or accepted. Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd will not accept a verbal contract or agreement for services of any kind.
  • Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd require payment to be made in full and upfront(irrespective of number of visits) once acceptance of the quotation has been agreed by you(the customer). This excludes bank transfer payment method. Bank transfer payment method is only acceptable should the technician of Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd deem it acceptable at the time of first visit to your premises. Payments made via bank transfer should be made to Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd no later than 2 days from initial call out, You(the customer) are required to make sure a reference number, invoice number and/or customer name is added to the details when a bank transfer is completed.
  • This payment requirement of section 2(c) does not apply to annual contractual work whereby clients will be invoiced monthly for services agreed to in writing of the T&C’s signed(by client) by specific the contract document. 

3              Pricing Structure.

  • Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd reserves the right to change any pricing of work and/or treatment services offered without notice. Prices displayed are typically base prices i.e. (starting prices) and are subject to change based on factors of a site survey(s) and categorised by the following factors.

Pricing is structured as such

  • Type of infestation(species identification)
  • Infestation level(high, medium, low)
  • Area(s)/logistics of infestation and ease of access points(buildings, rooms, attics, gardens, sheds etc.)
  • Type of equipment/materials/pesticides to be used on site and quantities required
  • Time on site including multiple and/or follow-up visits
  • Manpower required to complete job

 

  1. Chargeable Service Fees:
  • Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd endeavours to give you(the customer) the best possible price upfront for our services and not charge anything extra. However, some services require multiple visits beyond what can be realised on the first survey/visit.
  • Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd may therefore charge extra fees in order to cover costs of labour, time, fuel and materials etc. This will be communicated to you via a pest control technician or by the office of appropriate staff members of Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd at the time of receiving your quote and prior to treatment commencing.

Detailed below is further information and extra charges for our pest services:

  • Insects:
  • All pricing for insect(excludes: wasps, flies, ants) treatment/control is based on 1 bedroom sized premises. Additional costs will be payable for larger premises(based on number of bedrooms and/or area requiring treatment)
  • Wasp removal pricing relates to treatment or removal of x1 dormant/non active nest, subsequent nests (must be located on same premises owned/leased/rented by the customer) and are chargeable at a fee of £20.00. The price for treatment of an active nest does not include removal of the nest itself from the premises, a subsequent charge of £20.00 is applied for a further visit to remove the nest(if possible) from the premises. No charge will be issued to you(the customer) should a wasp nest require a respray/treatment control providing it was treated by Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd previously. Pricing relates to access of wasps nest and/or active entry/exit points of wasps in building structure(s) from ground level/attics/loft spaces whereby x1 pest control technician is required only. Should scaffold, tall ladders, climbing, extra manpower or any other means of access equipment be hired or required, Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd reserves the right to add additional fees.

 

  • Grey Squirrels
  • Pricing for treatment/control of grey squirrels is based on Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd trapping and removing a maximum of 3 grey squirrels from a site only. An additional cost of £20.00 will be charged for each subsequent visit for dispatch and/or removal of squirrels(s). You(the customer) are not subject to any additional charge/fee should a trap be triggered/set off and require the trap to be reset, but whereby a grey squirrel has NOT been trapped and needing dispatched and/or removed from site

 

  • Rodents: 
  • Pricing displayed by Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd for treatment/control of rodents is for riddance(removal of rodents from a site) only. Residential and/or commercial premises requiring annual contract visits(multi visit call outs/maintenance control) will have specific pricing tailored to meet their needs and based on site survey(s).
  • Whereby snap traps (also known as break back traps) are used in the control of rodents on a premises, Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd reserve the right to charge an additional fee of £20.00 per visit once a pest control technician has visited you(the customer) on the 3rd call out/visit and subsequent visits thereafter.

 

  • Proofing/Pest Prevention Work:
  • Any proofing/pest prevention work required by you(the customer) is chargeable in its own right, none of the prices on display include proofing of any kind. A separate quote will be issued to you if you require proofing/pest prevention work to be completed.

 

4              Health And Safety(Customer Information)

  • You(the customer) shall ensure that all advice and instructions we(Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd) give you or inform you of by any means. These instructions are for the protection of health and safety of anybody on your premises and are to be followed at all times. Failure to comply with instructions and/or advice given to you(the customer) by Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd on treatment and control of pests including proofing against pest ingress may result in additional charges for treatment or termination of our services on your premises.
  • You(the customer) must ensure that any person(s) from Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd on your premises is informed of any hazards and dangers that we(Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd) may encounter whilst work and/or treatment is being carried out on your premises.
  • Any pesticides used by Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd for services that we provide is approved under the Control of Pesticide Regulations 1986. Details of the pesticides can be provided to you(the customer) of label instruction and/or data sheets pertaining to the chemicals used on your premises. Please ask the pest control technician or contact the office to ask for copies to be sent to you. Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd shall comply and are fully compliant with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH).
  • You(the customer) will not own any of the equipment used by Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd and shall not remove and/or tamper with equipment whilst on your premises. We(Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd) reserve the right to cancel the contract and/or treatment with immediate effect if our equipment has been deemed to be tamped, destroyed or damaged on purpose or not in line with advice and guidelines given to you(the customer) by the pest control technician. Any equipment owned by Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd damaged as a result of improper actions either by you(the customer) or anyone on your premises, means you(the customer) may be liable for a charge(s) for replacement of damaged equipment.
  • You(the customer) must inform a member of staff at Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd as soon as possible if any defects of equipment, spillage of pesticide(s) is deemed to be hazardous or in a hazardous position. This also includes dead and/or dying animals on your premises. If you require equipment to be moved due to other work commencing on your premises you must notify Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd with immediate effect.
  • In certain circumstances an information sheet(s) may be provided by Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd to you(the customer) with all the health and safety advice and instructional treatment information to ensure safe and effective treatment for your pest problem. All visits to a premises once contracted to carry out work/treatment control has commenced by an Elite Pest Control Glasgow Ltd pest control technician, shall provide you(the customer) with a treatment report detailing work carried out, risks, equipment/pesticides used and health and safety recommendations.
